Registered Training Organisation (RTO) Services
RTO Closure - Jan 2017
After some 20 years of operation Bayley and Associates sold its Registered Training Organisation division wef January 2017, and so voluntarily cancelled its RTO credentials.
Public Offer Courses / Inhouse Courses
We now focus on tailored project management, contract management and probity training to project teams and workgroups. Our courses are only provided to organisations as inhouse deliveries and are not offered as public offer courses.
Reissue of Certificates (Qualifications / Statements of Attainment)
We are no longer an active RTO therefore if you require confirmation of your VET qualification(s) or statement(s) of attainment, or seek reissue of that documentation you will need to seek these services from the Australian government regulator, Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA). See www.asqa.gov.au/students/student-record.
Bayleys provided ASQA with a compliant electronic copy of our student records as part of our RTO closure process, so you can be confident that ASQA has been provided with sufficient details to confirm the status of certificates previously issued by us.
Vocational Education and Training (VET) Qualifications
Are Bayley's professional short courses tailored to suit my organisation?
Yes. All our extensive range of short courses are customised to suit the learning and development needs of the group we are working with.
We find that this gives the best outcome, as the training is tailored to reflect the realities of the workplace and to address the particular issues that the client wants to cover. We will work with your organisation’s policies and procedures, and provide examples and case studies to reflect your organisation’s context and desired business outcomes.
We always design our short courses with nationally recognised competency standards in mind. There is an extensive array of competency standards covering most workplace needs, and we find they are an excellent starting point for short courses.
If I complete a professional short course with Bayleys, can I get a Statement of Attainment?
Perhaps. Altough our short courses are non-accredited many cover at least some of the competency requirements for various units of competence. There may be some small content gaps that you can cover by self-paced learning.
Usually, the most significant difference between accredited and non-accredited training is that assessment tasks are not included in the non-accredited training programs. So if you have completed non-accredited training, we will discuss competency assessment requirements with a partner RTO. We have used this approach effectively for many individual and organisational clients over a number of years.
There are many different ways to undertake an assessment, including completing workplace tasks that we set for you, providing evidence that you are actually performing the functions under assessment in your workplace, completing assignments, attending a competency assessment workshop or participating in a competency assessment interview. We will work with you to find the most practical pathway to a statement of attainment.
As Bayleys no longer operates as an RTO we no longer issue VET qualifications through training courses or RPL processes. If you need to receive VET accredited training we recommend you look for VET courses and RTOs at www.training.gov.au/Home/tga.
